Art Rx Luncheon

Art Rx Luncheon 2019 was an educational luncheon in honor of Anthony Carbajal, photographer and healthcare activist. Anthony shared with the USC health sciences community about how his photography has contributed to his own journey with ALS and how he has creatively continued practicing his art in the face of illness progression.

This Luncheon was hosted by Art Rx of the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work in collaboration with the HEAL Program of the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Anthony Carbajal has inspired the world through his street photography and activism by giving a hopeful voice to the disease ALS. Anthony has raised over $4 million for research on ALS, was a resident artist at Stanford Medicine X, and has been a regular guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show.
